Lee Hetherington

Lee brings more than 25 years of publishing and boating industry experience to the MRAA team. Lee has sat on the Minnesota Magazine and Publishing Association’s board of directors and over the course of his accomplished career earned a reputation amongst his peers for developing collaborative partnerships, growing profits and diversifying revenue streams by embracing digital content.

The former group publisher of Ehlert Publishing Group (1994-2004), Lee has also served as vice president of consumer publishing for Grand View Media Group (2004-2014) and director of business strategy & organizational development at Valeo Health and Wellness Center.

Having spent his entire life in and around the lake-country, Lee is an avid boater and enjoys fishing, waterskiing, swimming and recreational boating with family and friends.  In addition, he’s an avid bowhunter and Ironman triathlete who enjoys staying at the top of his game by staying fit.  

Describing himself as a hands-on leader with an ability to forecast industry trends, Lee has made an immediate impact on the MRAA and enhanced the association’s client relations, staff mentorship and organizational strategy.
