Mary Gillen, Education Marketing Specialist

Mary Gillen joined the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas in June 2014. Prior to working for the MRAA, Mary completed an internship with the Minnesota Twins, working in their Creative Services and Production department, as well as working for the Minnesota Timberwolves as a public relations associate.

During her time with the Twins, Mary assisted with the on- and off-field activities, video production and managing the Target Mascot Race trophy. While in her role with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Mary handled writing the weekly newsletters, assisting with media needs and running social media. While working in the sports industry, Mary gained a working knowledge of both marketing and public relations strategies.

In her personal time, Mary considers herself a donut connoisseur and certified adventurer. Mary is also an avid runner and swimmer, recently completing her first half marathon, and she is setting out to complete her first triathlon.
