|Paul Terzian, MRAA Board|
Paul Terzian, Director
Region 2: Conn., N.J., N.Y., R.I.
Paul Terzian started in the boat business pumping gas at the age of 16 during summers at a Pennsylvania marina that his father had an ownership interest in. Gaining much experience in the service department in subsequent years, and upon the sale of the marina, Paul and his younger brother started their own New Jersey-based boat repair business in 1984 while still in college. After a small break from school to start the company, Paul simultaneously worked the business while continuing studies and obtained a BS Degree in Accountancy from Villanova University.
The independent service-only business evolved into a multi-line boat dealership with authorized representation of all major brands of outboard and I/O power. Although Paul's current duties are mostly administrative, he has worn every hat that a boat sales and service operation possesses, with one of his prized achievements being his recognition as an outboard Master Technician in 1999.
In addition to being a member of the MRAA Board of Directors, Paul has served for more than 20 years on the board of directors of the Marine Trades Association of New Jersey, proudly serving as its leader for two years, and is currently an active past-president and co-chair of its boat show committee.
