BoatHistoryReport.com

BoatHistoryReport.com, which operates similarly to Carfax and allows consumers to verify the history of the vessel seamlessly during the online shopping process, is providing its dealer service for free for three months under its COVID-19 Dealer Assistance Program. If you are a current subscribing dealer, your billing has been paused as of April 1st. Their hope is that by including a Boat History Report with your listings, your customers will feel more confident in the virtual shopping process during a time when they can no longer physically visit your location. Sign up for free access here, call 800-441-7599, ext.144, or via email.

 

BoatChat

BoatChat is offering dealers Live Chat Software and Services at no cost until June 30, 2020. Starting July 1st, they will offer the service for $395 per month for the rest of 2020. Check out the program

 

BRP Marine, Inc.

  • Floor Plan Assistance: Effective immediately, we will be covering floor plans through September 1, 2020 by paying all interest for Alumacraft and Manitou boats currently on floor plan with TCF, Wells Fargo and Northpoint.
  • For Evinrude Dealers: 100% of all floorplan costs for new Evinrude orders placed from March 24, 2020 through April 30, 2020 will receive free flooring until September 1, 2020. Standard 180-day flooring support remains on new Alumacraft and Manitou orders
  • Increasing Co-Op Reimbursements: To support your marketing efforts during this period, we are funding Co-Op at 100% until June 30, 2020, which means $0 out-of-pocket costs for you.
  • Retail Support: We will continue to have closing tools that will help you maximize each retail opportunity through various promotions.
    • Be sure to take advantage of current promotions and stock inventory available for immediate delivery on all brands - please reach out to your sales representative for a list of available inventory.
  • Marketing: We will continue measuring and monitoring the performance of all our marketing tactics moving forward and are prepared to adjust as needed to match today’s realities.
    • Websites and Social Media: We have modified the call to action of ‘visit a dealer’ to ‘contact a dealer’ on our websites, CRM and social media to adapt to this new reality.

 

CDK Global

CDK Global has put together many helpful videos for dealers during this time.

For April, CDK Global is reducing subscription fees to the following:

  • All Layered Applications will be reduced by 100-percent! YES, THAT MEANS FREE! This includes products like CRM, Loyalty, Texting, Locator, and more. If you don’t currently use some of these products, but would like them installed, we can help. New solution purchases are not a requirement to receive this offer on the products you currently use.
  • All DMS and DMS-related products will be reduced by 25 percent! This includes required products like Hosting, Pricebooks, EPC integration, and more.

These benefits require no action on your part, though there are some basic qualifying terms found on this page. Your April bill will automatically be adjusted.  CDK says it will continuously monitor the situation and talk with its partners, as they look beyond April.

 

Digital Showroom Manager

Available to all current Digital Showroom Manager users, we are offering a No ChargeRetail Build a Boat Link that can be applied to their respective websites to allow visitors the ability to build any model available from that dealer. This is normally a $195 add on, plus a setup fee of $495, at the standard rates currently being paid to use Digital Showroom Manager.  Here are a couple examples of how it works: Thayer Marine or Causeway Marine

 

Groupe Beneteau, U.S. Brands

Major lending partners Wells Fargo and SGB will offer a deferred interest payment, as well as extending the winter curtailment period through June 1, 2020. Additionally, in order to grant dealers time to finalize pending retail sales that may face delivery delays due to the shutdown of Beneteau facilities and those of their suppliers, they extended the Winter Boat Show Promotion through the end of April 2020.

 

Kicker Marine Audio

Kicker, with support from several component suppliers, recently delivered 8,300 face masks to Stillwater Medical Center. Another 1,200 face masks were provided to a 620-bed regional hospital in Tulsa, Okla., through a Kicker connection. Another 500 face masks were contributed to a group of New York City hospitals through a family connection via Kicker Brand and Sports Marketing Director Roger Demaree, whose nephew is a surgeon currently working at the NYC hospitals. Northpoint Commercial Finance

Curtailment Assistance: To help our customers work through the immediate economic impact of the virus, we are waiving curtailments and scheduled (SPP) payments that are due on your Northpoint account for the months of April, May, June and July. The waived curtailments will not reduce the principle amount due upon sale of the inventory, or the maturity date. Inventory that matures during April through July will be moved to August. Sold inventory and interest charges are to be paid timely as in the past. 

Inventory Audits: Beginning immediately, we are limiting personal contact between dealers and our field audit representatives. We will call to confirm business hours and conduct an inventory count as usual but will reconcile audit results by phone. Additionally, we are pursuing technology solutions to conduct audits without physical visits. These solutions will require your assistance in reporting inventory status using a cloud-based smartphone application.

 

Operate Beyond

Operate Beyond is offering our current MRAA dealers 50% off services for the months of April and May 2020. New dealers switching to Operate Beyond will be provided with reduced rates through the remainder of 2020 as well as buy-outs of their current contracts up to $3,000.

 

TruVideo

MRAA members who book a demonstration between May 1st- May 8th, and decide to move forward with the platform, can utilize it for 45 days free of charge. Following the trial should they decide to stay on a monthly subscription with us, they can. Should they decide to roll off, that is okay too.
