MRAA Premium Member Panel Discussion - "Decision Making For Dealership Leaders"

About The Event

The Marine Retailers Association of the Americas is hosting a special educational event for our Lifetime and Premium Retail Members, as well as our Board of Directors and Young Leaders Advisory Council, at the Marine Dealer Conference & Expo. As such, you are invited to an exclusive, special educational event that will feature a Leadership Discussion Panel with our top speakers from this year’s event.

The panel will be held on Monday, Nov. 16th from 11:30 - 1:00 pm (room TBA), and there is no fee to attend. It will give you the opportunity to engage directly with our keynote speaker, Steve McClatchy, as well as subject matter experts, Valerie Ziebron and Sam Dantzler.


About The Speakers

We're excited to welcome Steve McClatchy, our keynote speaker to the panel. Steve is a keynote speaker, workshop leader, and New York Times bestselling author. He has spoken before thousands of audiences on the topics of work/life balance, goal achievement and personal leadership and his client list includes the NFL, Pfizer, Microsoft, Disney, Comcast, Accenture, HP,Ikea, DHL Europe, Tiffany’s, Wells Fargo and Nestle. He has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, WebMD Magazine, Fast Company, Oprah Magazine, Entrepreneur and Investor’s Business Daily. 

Valerie Ziebron's background is steeped in the service and parts industry. After getting her start in the automotive industry, Ziebron expanded to technology, computer, retail, real estate, motorsports and marine. Ziebron’s clients have included: Chrysler, General Motors, Shelby American, Yamaha, Eastman Kodak, IPIX, Ruritan, AmTech, COMITT, Regulator, Pursuit, CorrectCraft, Century, and many others. She has delivered more than 10,000 presentations domestically and internationally, and has worked with over 3,000 dealerships to create powerful workshops, videos, webinars and on-line training. Ziebron believes in creating a comfortable and engaging learning environment that focuses on real world solutions. Valerie has been presenting for over two decades with her mantra of: Educate, Motivate, and Entertain. She is not afraid to ‘tell it like it is’, even when it hurts.


Sam Dantzler grew up selling retail in a sporting goods store as a kid, motorcycles in college, and eventually found his way into a job as a retail sales trainer. He found out about LEMCO (Ed Lemco’s company) in 1999, and Ed brought him on in 2000. Sam became the Director of Training for Lemco in 2003, running the 9-month-long Management Development Programs. With financing support from Mark Tkach and Bill Coulter (RideNow), the three bought the company from Ed in 2005, putting Sam as the new CEO. The name changed one year later to RPM Group. While RPMG continued to add new members, Sam created an exclusive program with Michael Lock and Ducati. This was the first genuine attempt that Sam had seen of an OEM truly wanting to help it’s dealer base through a private 20-Club group.  Since that time, he’s done work with Triumph, Harley-Davidson, Arctic-Cat, Polaris, as well as hundreds of independent dealers.
